Health & Safety

The Work Stream "Health and Safety" supports this ambition through addressing the issues on Occupational Health and Safety for all employees:

  • Involved and trained staff with expanded SHE competency and skills levels;
  • Standardised format reporting through CIL
  • Attention, Awareness and Analysis Road Traffic Safety
  • Reporting Incidents & Accidents including visitors and contractors

Rights and Integrity

The Work Stream "Rights & Integrity" supports this ambition through addressing the focus areas of employees rights and integrity:

  • Integrity is embedded in the way we work
  • Global employee rights are agreed upon and embedded.

Employee Engagement & Education

The Work Stream Employee Engagement & Education will support this ambition through engaging and educating our employees on our sustainability agenda:

  • Employees understand, are motivated and engaged to support Bralirwa's leadership in this area and its CSR vision, imperatives and initiatives
  • Leaders at all levels of business are actively engaged and visible in their commitment
  • Investment in communication and engagement activities to build understanding of our CSR agenda

Bralirwa employees plant trees in Runda, Kamonyi district. Over 500 trees were planted as part of the Company’s corporate social respobility to the community. Other tree planting initiatives were also carried out in some schools around the country.
